Kehwa Tea

Kashmiri kehwa tea is a fragrant tea infused with delicate flavors of whole spices. Kashmiri kehwa is subtle on your taste and ideal for the times whenever you crave a little warmth. It is a conventional green tea consumed largely in Northern Pakistan, Afghanistan, Kashmir valley and some areas of Central Asia. The tea is made by boiling the green tea leaves, along with saffron strands, cardamom, cinnamon bark and is usually served with honey or sugar and crushed nuts generally almonds. Traditionally, kehwa can also be made in usual vessels and pans, as modern day metropolitan living might not always allow the use of intricate samovars.
